My Third Quarter Journey: Coding, Community, and Conquering Challenges
This past quarter has been a journey of growth, particularly in mastering HTML. Initially unsure about structuring web pages, I now confidently use tags, elements, and attributes to build well-organized sites. One of the most exciting lessons was learning how to use HTML frames, which helped me create a more user-friendly website for a local non-profit. By designing separate sections for news, events, and volunteer opportunities, I made navigation clearer and more efficient for users.
Balancing HTML work, a Community-Based Research (CBR) project, and daily life was challenging, but strong time management skills helped me stay on track. While coding was a major highlight, the CBR experience was equally impactful, showing me how research can drive real change in communities. This realization has inspired me to explore ways to apply these principles in the future.
This quarter has been more than just classes and assignments; it's been a journey of growth. I've not only gained technical skills but also a broader perspective on the world and how I can contribute to it. I'm heading into the next quarter feeling confident, equipped, and ready to take on new challenges! Moving on, I'm excited to build on this momentum. I plan to further develop my HTML skills, possibly exploring CSS to enhance my web designs. This quarter's experiences have broadened my technical skills and social awareness, equipping me for future challenges and opportunities. I'm heading into the next quarter feeling confident, equipped, and ready for what's next!
I'm glad to know that you considered it not just a learning process but a journey to growth :)
